
In this site we analyze a number of issues related to supply chain freight and logistics side of the road truck, offering a solution and presenting the concrete benefits , available immediately to all stakeholders.
The author of this site is the creator of the analysis of the entire project, which was based on skills acquired in the transport of goods by road and twenty years of related experience in the field of ITC.
From these simple concepts:
- the route of each vehicle must be optimized to best of ability;
- daily during the mission, the vehicle should carry goods to the scope and / or volume of cargo;
- integrating intermodality;
- operating in Reverse Logistics (Logistics of Return);
we understand the importance of those in the business world, called "negative externalities", ie the costs incurred by the society and are the direct result of the need to move goods by road, from one point of a territory more or less wide. According to a study by INFRAS dell'Universtà Zurich and Karlsruhe (presented in October 2004) the external costs , relating to transportation, amounted to 7.3% of European GDP. This means that it is no longer conceivable that a truck carries a large part of your itinerary discharge or partially loaded.
